Biography
  Portland based acousto-electric guitar/bass/ukulele sister duo specializing in original compositions. Beliss is the hybrid of Belinda and Melissa Underwood, both classically and jazz trained musicians. They have branched out from these styles, calling on an enormous wealth of training and inspiration from multiple genres for their own sound of pop, electronic, folk and jazz arrangements. Influences include Bobbie Gentry, Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Dolly Parton, and The Beatles. Equally comfortable in the studio or at live venues, the sisters of Beliss produce their own albums as well as entertain a wide variety of audiences.
